Honouring the Soul of Lena Joyce May Martin ❤️

Peace Sangha,

Yesterday, I attended the funeral of a beautiful woman called Lena Joyce May Martin (my son’s nana), who played a part in why I am a minister today.

When her soul was on this earth plane, she kindly invited me to her church, where we began attending regularly together. It was in that welcoming environment that I had the opportunity to learn more about the Bible and the teachings of Jesus. Over time, I also became involved in the community by joining the church netball team. Where I later chose to get baptised.

My curiosity and desire to become a minister grew clearer and stronger until it fully manifested into the Minister I am today, a sacred calling I have never stopped pursuing and deepening throughout my journey.

Although we never had the chance to say goodbye, being able to attend the funeral provided me with the opportunity to honour her memory and to express my deep ever gratitude.
